Choosing a plan

How many CatchON TV connections do you need?

Choose your connection count by the number of devices that will play at the same time. A two-connection plan is for two simultaneous streams, even if you have more devices in your home.

Count simultaneous streams, not televisions

Start with the busiest viewing time in your household. One person watching on the living-room TV while another watches on a tablet uses two streams. Two people watching the same television together use one. Count any second screen that remains playing in the background.

Installing an app and playing a stream are different actions. Device registration, player activation and permitted locations may have separate restrictions. Confirm those details with support for your selected player before assuming an account can be shared between homes.

At the same timeConnections to consider
One television playing1 connection
Living-room TV and a phone2 connections
Three TVs showing different programs3 connections
Four or five separate screens playing4 or 5 connections

Pick the term separately

Connection count controls simultaneous viewing; the term controls how long the subscription lasts. Compare the total charged for each combination on the pricing page. An effective monthly figure is only the total divided by the number of months, not a monthly payment option.

A longer term is not automatically the lowest cost for every connection tier. Use the actual price matrix to compare the combinations you are considering. Start with a term you are comfortable paying for after checking your device and the channels you need.

If a second device interrupts the first

Stop playback on the other devices, including players left running on a phone or television. Then try one stream. If one screen works but concurrent playback fails, check the connection count on your order before changing network settings.

A player may need time to close an old session. Restart that player once, then contact support if the problem remains. Include the number of screens playing and your order reference; do not paste your password or playlist URL into a public message.

Changing your plan

Ask support how a connection change affects your current expiry date and price before paying for another plan. Do not assume that buying a second subscription automatically upgrades the first one.

For a renewal, confirm which existing account should be extended and the connection count you want to keep. Save the confirmation together with your receipt so the next renewal is easier.
